AN AUSTRALIAN SURFER KILLS A SHARK WITH HIS BARE HANDS

The Australian surfer was surfing near the spot of Lennox Point, on the east coast of Australia, when he was pushed by the shark while he was taking a wave.

He then acted on instinct and seized the marine predator. He then struck him against the nearby rocky shore until he died.

The surfer tells his state of mind in this moment of shock to the Australian newspaper nothernstar.com: "Thinking about it now, catching it seems to be the stupidest thing to do, but in the action, I thought if I caught it, I would know exactly where the mouth would be".
