SURF - A healthy mind in a healthy body
Surfing is summer sport by excellence. It has become in recent years the fashionable sport to practice on the French coast. Men, women and children: everyone gets involved. Why? Why? To relieve the stress of that long year's work? Lose the pounds you've gained? Or just to get in shape? Surfing is the sport that will do you the most good both physically and mentally.
Surfing on the physical level
The paddle and the pump movement to get up allow to strengthen the arms, the upper body and the bust. The search for balance on the board allows the back muscles and abdominals to work with the sheathing action. Standing on the board muscles the legs.
Surfing is a very physical activity that mobilizes the whole body and allows you to burn calories much faster. Surfing strengthens muscles and therefore refines and tones the silhouette.
Surfing on the mental level
In addition to strengthening the body, surfing is also a very good alternative to relieve stress because after a physical effort endorphins are secreted which provide a feeling of well-being. Surfing provides psychological benefits because it is practiced in a favorable environment. We know the positive impact of the sun on morale. The sea air also has beneficial effects on tone, mood and even sleep quality. Surfing will allow you to overcome your fears with an indescribable rage to win. You have to stop diving, row, stand up and start again. With this sport you push your limits. Getting a board on your head, getting heckled by the rollers or having a bad fall... you gladly go back and face your fears. In contact with the water we become more courageous, we wish to push our limits to the maximum to succeed in taking only one beautiful wave and saying "I succeeded! »
A healthy mind in a healthy body is also the way to success!
On a professional level, surfing also allows you to become more perseverant and overcome life's hazards with humility. To catch a wave you have to face the force of the waves to reach the open sea and then wait. Once the wave is caught, we have to start all over again. Surfing is therefore accepting to fall and try again by overcoming life's problems to succeed. The surfer learns to control his emotions in contact with water. Indeed to succeed you will have to overcome your fear of the "big" wave, the fall and not get angry with others.
More than a sport, surfing is a state of mind that offers everyone an inner well-being, a few minutes of pleasure for hours of "hard" struggles and moments of absolute freedom. Surfing will undoubtedly make you happy!
